Now we know our ABCs,
Our colors, shapes, and days.
Ms. Parker, you taught us the letter sounds
And checked our homework each day
We learned to follow all the classroom rules
Especially rule number eight
Be responsible, do my homework…
But first write our name and date
There were times when we forgot the rules
And sometimes we would come in late
Thank you, Ms. Parker for always being consistent
Especially with Rule Number Eight!
We know we haven't had many teachers in our lives
And we will have many, many more
We know we will have other teachers that care
But Ms. Parker has set the standard for sure
You never forgot when we walked into the room
to greet us with a happy "Good morning!"
You taught us all about the calendar too
And never made the letter sounds boring!
You made school fun
And your games helped us learn
You never left anyone out,
Everyone always got a turn.
You taught us to use our manners
And to say May I, Please and Thank you..
You taught us the importance of putting things back
where they belonged when we were through.
And even though this school year is over
It is very important for you to know
A part of you will be with us
Every place we will ever go.
You reminded us from the very start
Learning can be so much fun
To color our pictures, write our name and date
Always making sure our homework was done.
You saw in us our very best
You knew we could really go far
You cared about us and knew that we
Could all be superstars!
Our memories of room 313
Will someday fade, memories usually do
But one thing we won’t ever forget is
Ms. Parker, We loved you!
Your kindergarten class 2006-2007
